What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and sending sales invoices and credit notes to customers.
- Recording routine accounting transactions like sales invoices, cash receipts, and journal vouchers.
- Managing bank transfers, payments, and ensuring smooth transactions.
- Analyzing receivables and maintaining supplier balances with regular reconciliation.
- Reviewing and monitoring payroll entries and ensuring accuracy.
- Ensuring compliance with VAT regulations and preparing relevant reports.
- Managing prepaid and accrued expenses schedules.
- Maintaining the asset register and ensuring accurate depreciation records.
- Assisting with auditing activities and preparing necessary documentation.
- Preparing financial reports, including trial balance, profit & loss, and balance sheets.
Who We’re Looking For
We need a Senior Accountant who:
- Has 4-5 years of experience in accounting.
- Holds a SOCPA certificate (mandatory).
- Is familiar with VAT compliance, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Can manage supplier accounts and ensure timely payments.
- Has experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
