As a General Maintenance Foreman, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of chillers, cooling towers, and pump systems. You will manage and supervise maintenance tasks, ensuring efficiency and reliability across all systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision and Coordination:
- Manage daily maintenance activities for chillers, cooling towers, and pump systems.
- Assign tasks to technicians and monitor their progress.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintenance and Repairs:
- Perform regular inspections to ensure HVAC systems run efficiently.
- Identify issues with chillers, cooling towers, and pumps, and perform repairs as needed.
- Plan and oversee preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution.
- Technical Expertise:
- Monitor chiller performance, including refrigerant levels, compressors, and heat exchangers.
- Ensure cooling towers are functioning properly, including fan motors, drift eliminators, and water distribution systems.
- Maintain and repair pump systems, with a focus on seals, bearings, impellers, and alignment.
Experience Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in HVAC system maintenance, specifically chillers, cooling towers, and pump systems.
- Previous supervisory experience is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement effective solutions.
